In
the heat of the day we sing and play, we drum, and do the marimba, we
dance and gumboot. And in the evenings and early mornings we go with
experienced guides out into the wild to meet the animals.
It is sensational to be welcomed in this way by the warm African
embrace, a home-coming even for the first-timer in Africa! It is a
truly uplifting experience that will make your soul, as well as your
soles, fly high!
The
second part of a Song Safari is spent touring parts of the beloved
country. Often the trip goes to Cape Town, the crown jewel among South
African tourist highs, but sometimes we also explore less known but not
less exciting destinations, like swimming with the dolphins in southern
Mozambique.
We have successfully organised Song Safaris since 1997!
We are happy to announce that a decision has been taken to carry on with the successful cooperation with "Hela Världen", the International work of the Swedish Lutheran Church, in co-arranging Song Safaris specifically for choir-leaders. Parallel to the Safaris aimed specifically for the conductors we hope to run Safaris for the choristers as well.

Choir Tours
Our
Choir Tours are for choirs who need help to set up a tour
to South Africa. In collaboration with our partners Halo Gaia Travels
we can do the full concept or selected parts like setting up concerts,
workshops or meetings with other choirs or congregations, or prepare
and motivate before departure through workshops and rehearsals. We work
with all types of choirs; professional and amateur, secular or sacred.
A selection of choirs we successfully have worked with over the years;
The Peace Choir, Falun, Immanuel Gospel, Gustaf Sjökvists Chamber Choir
and Sofia Vocal Ensemble, Stockholm, Levande Väsen, Härnösand, The
Chamber Choir at the Conservatory of Music, Piteå and the Church Choir
of Saltsjöbaden. Click here
