I teach,
and while doing so I have learned that there was always only one student in my
class - myself, with many teachers - all the so-called learners...
I teach all the time. I believe we all do. Through sharing what we have we make it available to others - and to ourselves. Once we get it - well, time for the next lesson!
If you want to join me in this dialogue and dance I would be very happy!
I have been sharing my thoughts and listening to others at small and big gatherings, with small and big people from Pre-schools to Universities and in many groups, organizations and businesses outside the formal educational institutions.
My thoughts are about cooperation, unity and creativity and stem a lot from my experience of straddling two countries; the ultimate North with the ultimate South, trying to see the contradictions as possibilities and beautiful paths to unity. The perspective is applicable in every situation where different people get together, from the smallest of work-teams through to global perspectives.
As the movie “As it is in heaven” has shown to so many: the Choir is a lovely metaphor for life itself and conducting choirs has taught me about getting instant results by making people pull in the same direction. Of course there is nothing like making music together to make us understand and love each other, so a bit of singing and music making will be present in any of my sharing situations.
Because nothing can say it better than the music:
"Together,
we are creating,
participating,
celebrating:
A World Culture of Peace!"
Together!
